Senator Stone's bills pass Committee Hearings with Bi-partisan Support

Sacramento, Ca – Three bills by State Senator Jeff Stone (R-Riverside County) cleared important committee votes this week and are moving on for further consideration.

The bills each passed the Senate Committee on Governance and Finance with bipartisan support and no opposition.

“It’s always good when we can work across the aisle to come up with legislation to benefit the people of California,” said Senator Stone.

Senate Bill 1091 will provide property tax relief for victims of last year’s devastating natural disasters in California. The bill now moves on to the Senate Appropriations Committee

Senate Bill 1202 secures an additional level of transparency on reporting requirements for local agencies. This bill goes to the Senate floor for consideration.
